We got issues :(
thetilian: 1919hemphill: A large sum of money was most likely stolen from 1919 Hemphill. I don’t really want to explain the details but it puts us in a bad place. How you can help? Buy a 1919 compilation. They’re $9 and you’ll get some stickers and I’ll draw you a nice little picture of your picking. OR you can just donate some money via paypal (rick@1919hemphill.org), donating at a show or...

December local shows
We’ve got some super cool shows coming up in our hometowns in December! December 1st @ It’s A Kling Thing! Akron, OH w/ Tin Armor, Reverse The Curse, The Ground Is Lava We always get a little overwhelmingly excited when we get to hang out with the Tin Armor boys. They don’t come around these parts as often as they should so everyone should come out to this. Not to...

end of eras
Tonight is the last show at The Vineyard (or ARM House, whatever you prefer to call it). I haven’t wanted to put much thought into it being the last show, because I was really hoping someone will find a way to keep it going by any means necessary. I don’t know if it’s even possible any more, so I might as well come to terms with it being the last show there. The Vineyard has...

Heading down to The Fest 10 right now. This is our 4th year playing and we couldn’t be more pumped. We play at 7 at the Atlantic, right before O Pioneers. Also, they just announced Dead to Me is playing right before us (woah). Can’t wait to get some gator dawgs.

SXSW
The Topshelf/Showcase was ridiculously successful in a lot of ways. The place was small, but pretty well packed the whole time. Thanks to Keith, Kevin, Seth and Jordan for putting it all together and having us play. It so great to have all amazing bands that we’re friends with in the same place. As for the rest of SXSW, it was sorta beyond comprehension. Having played The Fest the...

st. louis
St. Louis last night was on of the best shows on tour we’ve ever had. But even better than the show itself was the insane dancing that occurred during the Reptilian’s set. Out of no where popped this guy dressed in all green like a leprechaun and he had the best moves i’ve ever seen. we got a picture with him. he even looks like a celebrity. Lawrence, KS tonight!

To those who will be seeing us on this tour, this may very well be the last time you see our beloved “Sleeping Lion” and “Casio Keyboard” design. we have very very few left of these and once they are gone, they’re gone! Better snag one while we have them. You can also get them at our Big Cartel to the right or at the Count Your Lucky Stars store.

One more show finalized for tour starting next week. That show would be in Little Rock, AR at Happy Fuckers United with Holy Sheet and Harsh Boys. Denton, TX is still up in the air, but that would just mean we get to spend an extra day at SXSW (darn!). For a full list with all the info, here’s the Facebook event, the official tour list source for all bands these days:...

Attn: We finally have some shows coming up soon! Its been about 2 full months since we played our last show and like usual they are about to come in bunches. We will be hitting the road with pals Joie De Vivre in a few weeks, making a stop at SXSW. We still need help with a few dates though, so if you or anyone could help, that would be super. Our next show is this Saturday in Kent at Europe...

festin' once again
The initial lineup for The Fest 10 is up now. Give it a good long look. Of course, since we are posting it here, that means we are playing once again! We’ve had the times of our collective lives doing this the past 3 years and are honored to be asked to do it again. Don’t start making up your schedule yet though, there’s still more to come. www.thefestfl.com

tour ends
Back from tour everyone and I must say overall it was a smashing success! We played so many great shows with great bands, got to hang out with so many great people, and certainly met our fair share of awesome new people as well. The tour spanned 8 days with 7 shows. We ended up going to the Street Smart Cyclist reunion show in Bethlehem, PA to start things off, which ruled. Of course,...

A sincere thanks to everyone who came to the release show on Thursday night! It was a lot of fun and great to play with some of our friends. Annabel! Annabel! (I Was A Lonely Estate)
So at this point I’d like to mention that our tour with Empire! Empire! is nearly all set. This is probably the most excited for a tour I’ve ever been. Why? because not only do we get to play some awesome shows in awesome places with awesome people (not to mention we’ll be playing with E!E! every night for a week) but Andy and I will also be playing IN Empire! It was so so awesome to play with Spraynard and Everyone Everywhere, two awesome bands with good people and great...
