It’s A 5 year thing

Happy 5th birthday to It’s A Kling Thing shows. On August 24th, 2007 the house on Kling St in Akron opened it’s basement to music lovers and bands everywhere. Daniel Striped Tiger played with us and Scotty’s solo-project Army of Vikings. It’s been an important place to us, especially since some of us have been living there the past few years. House show spaces usually last only as long as a lease, so the fact it’s made it through a half decade is pretty special. This is the last year of the Kling Thing’s existence, so expect a full analysis of its legacy next summer.
